Almost the Grand Canyon

Today involved quite a bit of sight-seeing: we started at Sedona, with a loop road into the hills (off the highway), then worked our way to Flagstaff, where we stopped for lunch. After that, we continued north on Hwy 89, towards the Grand Canyon. Didn't have time for the Grand Canyon, though, but contented ourselves with the Vermillion Cliffs, the Arizona Strip, and the Colorado River. Here are a few pictures of that drive.

We crossed the border into Utah, and stopped for the night at Kanob. Starting tomorrow, it will be more pedal-to-the-metal and less lookie-loo.
